Louis Vuitton

Paul Helbers and Marc Jacobs gave us 2 new Damier bag colors that I actually love! The blue is flawless and the green makes me think the US military needs to hire Vuitton to start designing their gear.

Of course I’m still in love with shorts and in this collection I see a huge variety in fabrics and design that make all of these shorts a must have item. As usual the Vuitton collection kept their designs polished and clean and also had a very luring appeal. I say 10 out of 10

In my opinion Dsquared² is one of the most exciting designer brands in the business, take one look and you be stunned. If you like fun colors and making bold statements then this is the brand for you! I LOVE Dsquared² … and I hope you do too

Givenchy will no longer be showing their couture designs on the runway in an effort to cut costs, couture collections will y be viewable by appointment says Tisci....

So im like Wow I'm a sucker for couture and I've lately taken a liking to Givenchy so it will be a huge disappointment to no longer have the chance to see a couture show!

Well Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana brought enough bread and snacks for us all!

The D&G show gave off and relatively laid back and relaxed feeling to it. The grass runway added to its casual appeal. Of course they kept the collection youthful and fresh.

As I’ve said before right now I’m OBSESSED with shorts and their was no shortage of them in the Spring 2011 shows but D&G’s have by far been my favorite I just love they way they are cut and how casual yet sophisticated they look, Ciao

Gucci Fever

Plain and simple, Gucci brought me down to my knees. They kept their slim youthful silhouettes along with a sleek sexy style. With this collection I would say that the accessories caught my eye the most....  At the moment in totally into shorts and these Gucci shorts are a must have item!! maybe I'll see them on Gilt Group someday!

TOTAL DOMINATION

The world of Emporio Armani has taken a different approach to the Spring/Summer looks.

This collection definitely isn’t full of pastels and prints.  I’m really into leather at the moment so all the leather vests, pants, leggings and bags all just sent me into heaven for the night, also I loved that a lot of the looks still had that tailored approach that we’re all so used to seeing from Armani.


Also while on the subject of Armani it’s a necessity that I bring up Portugal’s 7-0 demolition of North Korea in the World Cup today and the new face of Armani Jeans  a certain superstar named Cristiano Ronaldo got on the score sheet. Viva Armani, Viva Ronaldo, VIVA PORTUGAL

BURRR-BERRY (GUCCI MANE VOICE)

 First and foremost i must say its a total relief that brands are starting to livesteam their shows, it really gives everyone the opportunity to experiences fashion in a new way.

The Burberry show gave me chills… hence the Gucci Mane Burr reference. This collection gave us a history lesson in Burberry Men’s fashion and also had innovative deviant British biker written all over it! Biker influenced vests, pants, coats and jackets topped off with a youthful vigilant feeling. I will say Christopher Bailey…. bravo bravo

Although where I live its almost 90 degrees everyday I will be dreaming of every leather jacket and vest from this collection ALL summer.

It just came to me as my roommate and a guy from down the hall decided to dress up in what they considered to be their “most ridiculous and hideous” suits and go frolic around campus. Well I just had an epiphany “ as Nicki Minaj would say ;p” that for both of them to be slightly “well not slightly but almost blatantly unaware of some of the things they had on were not really hideous and just so happened to be somewhat "IN STYLE"

So first of all, being a self proclaimed “broke college student”  I have excepted the fact  that until I’m making my  millions purchasing anything Rodarte would  be absolutely nonsensical , excessive, ( an ooohhh so delectable) and would result in endless mounds of debt! Unless of course #1 I win the lottery or #2 ….. well there’s no number <2> fortunately now Rodarte has solved my problems and given me  hope!! Yes finally Rodarte

Summer+ HoT sun+Hot Body= SHOW IT OFF!

Here it goes... we all know summer is here and its here to stay for a while, i myself hot up the pool yesterday in an effort to show of my hot new beach body and i noticed some of the "common" college swim attire worn by everyone there, besides me! First guys lets establish some rules of the game.
 

“Fly”er
 we all know as soon as we get out of the water swimsuits always seem clutch to. But the construction of a fly adds a little armor to keep your “private package” under wraps.

Flat Front please…
 a swimsuit with a flat front will sit  more comfortably, while a scrunching elastic band sometimes emphasizes those areas that need to remain concealed.

Board Shorts, are not for everyone!!! Man! Buy ‘Em Short but Not Tight

First of all, if you’re a bit lean, there’s no need to complain—we have it easy.  What’s key for us to make sure we don’t have too much swimsuit. --NEWSFLASH!!! Shorter guys, over-sized Board Shorts do nothing but make you look even SHORTER!!! 

•Look for short trunks with tapered leg openings: if they’re too big you look like you’re wearing your Dads hand-me-down Bermudas.

 

•So lets keep your trunks trim as you can, and feel free to experiment with colors or prints—something most of the big guys on the beach can’t get away with

Most importantly --HAVE FUN, enjoy all that WET WATER! ;P and as Marc Jacobs would say, Protect the skin you're in!
